We're partnering with creators to produce authentic, engaging in-store content! We want to show our audience exactly where and how to find our products at their local Home Depot.

What we need from you

The store run. Head to your local Home Depot and capture footage of our product on the shelf. We want a clear shot of the entire display so viewers know exactly what to look for.

The breakdown. While showing the product, provide a quick, natural explanation of what the product is, what it does, and let viewers know where they can find the product in the store. Prefer not to talk on camera in the store? Film it silent and add a voiceover at home. Totally fine.

The specs. Videos must be longer than 10 seconds, shot vertically (9:16 format), and 1080p or higher.

Shot ideas (optional)

  • Film yourself grabbing the product off the shelf. The reach and grab makes a great clip.
  • A slow pan across the display before you pick it up.
  • Drop it in your cart on the way out.

The process

  1. Apply. Fill out the application. We'll first check that a participating store is near you. Requests are approved on a case-by-case basis.
  2. Upfront payment. If approved, we send you $20 to cover the product and your time picking it up. Your collaboration payment for the filming and the video rights is separate. It comes after your post is live and the raw file is sent to us.
  3. Shoot & submit. You have a 7 day turnaround from receiving the upfront payment to purchase, shoot, and submit the final video. If you need more time, please reach out to partnerships@useactive.com for an extension.
  4. Post it. Publish the video to your main account and send us the link.
  5. Final payment. Once your post is live and the raw file is sent to us, your final collaboration payment will be processed.

Based on your usual rate for a single short-form video. Requests are approved on a case-by-case basis.
We use this to process your initial $20 upfront payment if approved.

Before you submit

  • Payments: $20 upfront covers the product and pickup time. Your collaboration payment comes after your post is live and the raw file is sent to us.
  • Timeline: 7 days from receiving the $20 to shoot, submit, and post. If you need more time, reach out to partnerships@useactive.com for an extension.
  • The video: longer than 10 seconds, vertical 9:16, 1080p or higher, original footage you shot yourself.
  • The content: explain what the product is and does, let viewers know where to find it in the store, and don't focus on other shoppers or employees.
  • The file you send us: a clean copy with no music and no burned-in captions. Your own posted version can have both.
  • Delivery: the raw file, named FirstName-LastName-Product. If approved, we will send you the upload process via email.
  • Posting: publish to your main account and send us the link.
  • Usage: ACTIVE receives the rights to use the video on our channels and in paid advertising.
